In questo dibattito sui diritti umani, la questione dei rifugiati nel mondo è uno dei problemi più complessi che la comunità internazionale deve affrontare oggi. La questione è oggetto di un intenso dibattito sia a livello nazionale che internazionale, alla ricerca di modi più efficaci per proteggere e assistere questi gruppi particolarmente vulnerabili, che subiscono costantemente violazioni dei loro diritti umani. Questo libro è uno studio sulla situazione giuridica dei rifugiati nel diritto internazionale contemporaneo; più specificamente, ci proponiamo di analizzare il diritto internazionale dei rifugiati e la sua interiorizzazione in Brasile. La recente situazione internazionale ha dato maggiore risalto a questo tema, poiché la comunità delle nazioni sembra rendersi conto, sempre di più, che la sua osservanza ha una grande influenza sulla protezione dei diritti umani.
