Questo libro è il risultato di un corso di fine anno sull’insegnamento dell’embriologia agli studenti della scuola secondaria. Il lavoro iniziale, con l’obiettivo di trasformare il linguaggio scientifico in modelli e giochi per l’insegnamento dell’embriologia, si è svolto nel 2005. Tuttavia, il materiale didattico prodotto è stato utilizzato nelle scuole fino ad oggi. Pertanto, al fine di pubblicizzare il lavoro in modo che altri insegnanti abbiano accesso alla costruzione di materiali simili, il lavoro è stato redatto in forma di libro, mantenendo la sua integrità iniziale. Il lavoro è stato sviluppato dall’autrice Talita Sarah Mazzoni e supervisionato dalle professoresse Maria Dalva Cesario (Dipartimento di Morfologia) e Angelina Batista (Dipartimento di Educazione) - Istituto di Bioscienze di Botucatu - Università Statale Paulista - UNESP - Botucatu, SP. Talita è attualmente professore di Embriologia presso il Dipartimento di Biologia Cellulare e dello Sviluppo dell’Istituto di Scienze Biomediche - Università Federale di Alfenas - UNIFAL - Alfenas, MG.
