Die Sprachwissenschaft kann für den Unterricht wichtige Methoden wie textlinguistische Betrachtungen zu Literatur und Inhalten (etwa Dialektologie, Hoch-/Standardsprache) bereitstellen; die Unterrichtspraxis wiederum kann Aufschluss über Sprachwandelphänomene geben: Was bedeutet es beispielsweise, wenn in Schüleraufsätzen der Genitiv nach einigen Präpositionen nicht mehr verwendet wird?Dieser Sammelband enthält ausgewählte Beiträge von Studierenden zur Frage, welche sprachwissenschaftlichen Inhalte überhaupt Gegenstand des Deutschunterrichts sein können. Er richtet sich gleichermaßen an Universitätsangehörige, schulische Lehrkräfte wie an der Sprachwissenschaft Interessierte und versucht, die empfindliche Lücke zwischen universitärer sprachwissenschaftlicher Ausbildung und schulischen Unterrichtsgegenständen im Fach Deutsch ein wenig zu schmälern.
