Questa ricerca mette in evidenza l’impatto del porto di Gwadar sull’economia pakistana e il ruolo delle donne del Balochistan con standard di pianificazione più rigorosi. La dissociazione tra flusso/informazione e democratizzazione creerà un processo di apprendimento complessivo. Sebbene il porto di Gwadar offra un potenziale di trasformazione, i risultati suggeriscono che il suo pieno potenziale può essere realizzato solo attraverso un approccio multi-frontale con implicazioni politiche globali che comportano l’empowerment della comunità locale, il superamento del divario di genere e la promozione di uno sviluppo inclusivo e sostenibile.
