Cette recherche met en évidence l’impact du port de Gwadar sur l’économie pakistanaise et le rôle des femmes du Baloutchistan dans le renforcement des normes de planification. La dissociation du flux/de l’information et la démocratisation créeront un processus d’apprentissage dans son ensemble. Alors que le port de Gwadar offre un potentiel de transformation, les résultats suggèrent que son plein potentiel ne peut être réalisé que par une approche sur plusieurs fronts avec des implications politiques globales impliquant l’autonomisation des communautés locales, la réduction de l’écart entre les sexes et la promotion d’un développement inclusif et durable. Le rôle de la théorie est donc d’expliquer ce qui est pertinent pour un port, de toutes ces manières.
