En réalité, l’évolution de la téléphonie mobile s’est déroulée selon différentes technologies en termes de qualité technique des opérations et de possibilités de services. Les systèmes numériques qui se sont imposés les premiers sur le marché sont l’AMRT, l’AMRC et le GSM. Enfin, la grande différence réside dans la disponibilité de nouvelles fonctions, qui font que le téléphone mobile n’est plus seulement un téléphone, mais un support électronique pour les actions les plus diverses.
