Esta pesquisa teve como principal objetivo estudar quais elementos do letramento estatístico podem ser construídos, a partir do uso do livro didático, pelos alunos do 3º ano do ensino médio, buscando identificar, segundo Chevallard, as praxeologias presentes nos livros. Para isso, analisamos os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais para o Ensino Médio, Orientações Curriculares para o Ensino Médio, Base Nacional Comum Curricular e exercícios dos livros didáticos aprovados no PNLD 2018, por meio da Organização Praxeológica de Yves Chevallard, o que nos proporcionou condições de analisar quais são as propostas da Estatística estabelecidas nos documentos oficiais e identificar as tarefas, técnicas e discurso teórico-tecnológico presentes nos exercícios dos livros didáticos. 10
