Cette recherche vise à analyser la performance du secteur automobile brésilien face à la crise économique des subprimes. Compte tenu de l’importance du secteur pour l’économie du pays, nous avons cherché à analyser les dommages réels causés à l’économie, ainsi qu’à ce secteur, étant donné qu’il a montré des résultats positifs par rapport au même secteur dans d’autres pays. Par conséquent, des hypothèses ont été émises sur la situation économique et financière de ce secteur au Brésil. Dans ce contexte, cette recherche a pour but d’évaluer objectivement la performance des indices Sharpe (ISH), Sortino (ISor), Treynor (ITR) et Calmar (ICA). Pour ce faire, 7 (sept) actions du secteur automobile et leurs cours quotidiens ont été analysés sur une période allant du 1er janvier 2006 au 31 décembre 2010. L’indice boursier (IBOV), largement utilisé comme paramètre d’analyse, a servi de référence à cette recherche. Cette recherche est bibliographique, basée sur des sources secondaires et de nature quantitative-qualitative.
