Die vorliegende Studie bildet eine systematische Auseinandersetzung mit der schulinternen Leistungsbeurteilung anhand von vorgegebenen Erwartungshorizonten im Kontext der zentralen Prüfungen zum Erwerb des Mittleren Schulabschlusses und greift hiermit ein gesellschaftlich stark relevantes Thema auf, welches bislang unerforscht blieb. Die zentralen Befunde deuten auf die Existenz einer multifaktoriell beeinflussten, heterogenen Nutzungspraxis des Erwartungshorizontes durch die Lehrkräfte hin, die zudem landesspezifische Tendenzen aufweist.
