Quand j’étais jeune, j’étais troublée par le fait que certains enfants quittaient l’école et restaient seuls dans les rues. Aujourd’hui, en travaillant avec des jeunes, je me rends compte que la situation des enfants qui restent seuls après l’école ne s’arrête pas là. Il m’a fallu un certain temps pour comprendre que l’éducation à temps plein est un droit constitutionnel, un certain temps pour réaliser l’importance de garantir différentes possibilités d’apprentissage dans plusieurs langues. Lorsque j’ai accepté de coordonner un programme d’éducation à temps plein, je me suis retrouvée face à la réalisation de mon rêve d’enfant, face à la possibilité de promouvoir la transformation sociale par le biais de l’éducation. Réalisations, progrès, défis... Je laisserai les commentaires à l’évaluation et au suivi.
