In diesem Buch werden daher die Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede in Vollstreckung und Vollzug analysiert und bewertet. Bei nicht überzeugender Ungleichbehandlung werden Änderungsvorschläge unterbreitet. Des Weiteren wird die zwischen Rechtsprechung und Literatur stark umstrittene Verbindungsmöglichkeit von lebenslanger Freiheitsstrafe und Sicherungsverwahrung mit ihren dafür und dagegen sprechenden Argumenten analysiert und abschließend bewertet.
