Über drei Generationen hinweg untersucht Hannah Müggenburg den Einfluss von Lebensereignissen als sensible Phasen für Veränderungen auf das Verkehrshandeln von Studierenden an der TU Dortmund, deren Eltern und Großeltern. Die quantitative Studie zeichnet mittels einer retrospektiven Erhebung Veränderungen über den Lebensverlauf hinweg nach. Unterschiede hinsichtlich des Erlebens von Lebensereignissen und Konsequenzen für die Mobilität im Verlaufe der Biographie und zwischen den Generationen werden mittels multivariater Analysemethoden herausgearbeitet und im Kontext weiterer Studien diskutiert. Die Qualität der Methode zur Erhebung von Mobilitätsbiographien wird unter Einbezug der Rückmeldung von Teilnehmenden kritisch reflektiert und hinsichtlich Testgütekriterien evaluiert.
