Selon différentes études, les vélos cargo constituent une alternative prometteuse aux véhicules traditionnels utilisés dans le transport urbain. Une grande partie des transports sur de courtes distances pourrait théoriquement être effectuée à l’aide de vélos cargo. La réduction des émissions sonores et polluantes serait donc un avantage majeur de ces véhicules.Cependant, ce potentiel est loin d’être exploité. Dans le cadre de cette étude, nous avons donc cherché à savoir quels types d’entreprises utilisent déjà des vélos cargo et quelles sont les conditions préalables à l’utilisation de ces véhicules pour le transport interne. En bref, le présent travail examine et discute les facteurs favorables et les obstacles à l’intégration des vélos cargo dans les entreprises.
