Ce texte vise à identifier les variations linguistiques des régions brésiliennes qui sont présentes dans le discours des habitants du district fédéral. Ce type d’étude est important car il montre que, malgré les différences dans la façon de parler des habitants des différentes régions du pays, lorsqu’ils se trouvent dans un même lieu, comme c’est le cas dans le district fédéral, ils peuvent communiquer parfaitement. Cela prouve que la prononciation des mots n’est qu’un autre type de variété linguistique, qui n’empêche pas la communication et la compréhension du discours entre les locuteurs d’une même langue. L’étude de ces manifestations est un domaine de la linguistique qui, en valorisant la langue parlée, vise à éliminer les préjugés linguistiques, car elle comprend que la langue standard et la langue familière ne sont que des variétés et non des langues distinctes ou des langues de moindre ou de plus grande valeur. Afin de prouver cette variété parmi les locuteurs d’une même langue, une enquête a été menée auprès de résidents du district fédéral de différentes localités, afin de déterminer les caractéristiques distinctes du discours de chaque personne.
