Les médias occidentaux tels que la télévision, les journaux et le cinéma ont saisi, et continuent de saisir, l’occasion de générer des stéréotypes de sauvagerie , de peste et de tribalisme coloré qui ont des implications pratiques pour les populations africaines qui souhaitent exprimer leurs agences. Dans ce livre, j’essaie d’aborder ces stéréotypes d’un point de vue anthropologique en opposant les médias occidentaux aux médias africains afin de démystifier la construction de la réalité proposée dans les représentations visuelles de l’Afrique.
