Il ripetersi di crisi post-elettorali, che ostacolano sia l’attuazione dei progetti di sviluppo dello Stato sia la costruzione della nazione, pone la sfida di ripensare il sistema di governance democratica importato dall’Occidente, al fine di sviluppare un nuovo sistema in risposta a queste anomalie politiche. La sfida della nostra ricerca è che i trampolini di lancio per lo sviluppo dell’Africa si trovano nella sua storia antica. Da qui la necessità di rivalutare questa storia in modo critico e prospettico. È in questo contesto che proponiamo 'l’elaborazione di un contenuto politico-sociale per l’epistemo-etica' come mezzo per riscattare la situazione dell’Africa. L’obiettivo del nostro lavoro non è solo quello di ripristinare i valori africani che resistono alla prova del tempo, ma anche di pensare alla possibilità di uno sviluppo nella pace e nella giustizia sociale, ponendo fine al ripetersi delle crisi post-elettorali in Africa.
