La violencia es en un principio, uno de los resultados de las intenciones pragmáticas sobre la vida. Es decir, la utilidad como base de todo significado social ha permitido que un aspecto natural , esencialmente primitivo, de la sociedad sea uno de los modos de proceder (si no es que el de mayor peso) en nuestra diaria interacción humana. No, no intento ser fatalista, sino todo lo contrario. El hecho de que aún no nos sobrepongamos a esta especie de condicionante biológica, ahora social, habla de una aparatosa historia humana sobre la cual no hemos tenido mucho conocimiento de las causas que la conforman. Aún no sobrepasamos el umbral de la necesidad de soluciones rápidas e inciertas para la vida, lo que hemos hecho que nos lleve a un porvenir angustioso y carente de motivos para no permitir que nuestra tendencia utilitaria, bien humana y animal, siga siendo la unilateralidad forzada de nuestra capacidad como sociedad, como especie, como individuos y personas.
