La recente approvazione da parte della FDA del primo farmaco stampato in tre dimensioni (3D) sottolinea le potenzialità della tecnologia di stampa 3D (3DP) nella somministrazione di farmaci. Questa relazione valuta le prospettive della tecnologia 3DP, in particolare nell’area dei farmaci personalizzati, e offre le nostre prospettive sulle potenziali sfide che possono ostacolare un’applicazione su larga scala nella somministrazione di farmaci farmaceutici. In questo libro, introduciamo i principi e lo stato attuale dei metodi di bio-stampa 3D. Si concentra su alcuni studi che stanno trovando applicazione nei campi della biomedicina e dell’ingegneria tissutale con l’utilizzo di impalcature stampate in 3D.
