La proliferación de sistemas de inteligencia artificial en todos los ámbitos humanos ha generado diversas modalidades de interacción, pero la falta de un marco unificado para clasificarlas dificulta la investigación sistemática, el diseño pedagógico y la evaluación ética. El estudio tiene como objetivo proponer una taxonomía integral y multidimensional para clasificar las interacciones entre inteligencia humana e inteligencia artificial, que sirva como lenguaje común y herramienta analítica. Se fundamentó en cuatro pilares: ciencia cognitiva, taxonomías educativas, interacción humano-computadora y la Ley de Inteligencia Artificial de la Unión Europea. A partir de ello, se desarrolló un modelo jerárquico con cinco categorías principales según su propósito. Se complementó con heurísticas explícitas para resolver ambigüedades categoriales y con el concepto de 'trayectorias de interacción' para capturar la naturaleza dinámica de estas relaciones. La taxonomía clasifica las interacciones en: 1) Herramienta de Aumento (estos sistemas amplifican capacidades humanas); 2) Colaboradora (trabajan junto al humano); 3) Espejo o Entrenador (reflejan o entrenan al humano); 4) Mediadora (conectan humanos entre sí); y 5) Entidad Autónoma con Supervisión Humana (actúan solos bajo control humano). Cada categoría se desglosa en subcategorías operativas y se analiza mediante una matriz de dimensiones cruzadas.
