La pragmatique étudie les objectifs de la communication en révélant indirectement les intentions du locuteur à travers les énoncés qu’il produit. Elle se concentre sur l’étude des processus par lesquels nous comprenons ce qui est sous-entendu. Elle est liée à la procédure utilisée par le réalisateur et illustrateur Hayao Miyazaki pour créer des récits visuels, tirés de la réalisation de son film d’animation intitulé : Le voyage de Chihiro (2001) par les studios Ghibli. Inspiré par les connaissances qu’il acquiert dans la sphère sociale, dans les contes populaires, dans les interactions entre les individus, il continue à façonner ses récits.
