Il coinvolgimento dei dipendenti è il grado misurabile dell’attaccamento emotivo, positivo o negativo, di un dipendente nei confronti del proprio lavoro, dei colleghi e dell’organizzazione, che influenza profondamente la sua disponibilità ad apprendere e a dare il meglio sul lavoro (Scarlett, 2008). Il coinvolgimento dei dipendenti è stato spesso definito come l’impegno emotivo e intellettuale nei confronti dell’organizzazione (Baumruk, 2004; Richman, 2006; Shaw, 2005). L’impegno dei dipendenti era costituito da 8 componenti. Con questa logica, il presente studio ha esaminato, in primo luogo, la natura dell’impegno dei dipendenti in termini di tipo di organizzazione, ovvero banche private e pubbliche, e, in secondo luogo, ha studiato l’interrelazione dell’impegno dei dipendenti rispetto ad alcuni fattori organizzativi (efficacia del team e clima organizzativo) e personali (i cinque grandi fattori). Il presente studio ha coinvolto un campione rappresentativo di 150 persone, suddivise come segue: 50 per lo sviluppo della scala di coinvolgimento dei dipendenti e 100 per la verifica delle ipotesi. L’elaborazione statistica dei dati ottenuti è stata effettuata applicando il test di significatività 't', l’ANOVA e la correlazione. Questo studio ha raccomandato le strategie per il coinvolgimento dei dipendenti e il programma di arricchimento.
