Los autores que reúne esta compilación, de diferentes orígenes y experiencias profesionales, dirigieron su mirada hacia las consecuencias que los violentos años 60 y 70, que la Justicia denominó guerra revolucionaria han tenido sobre el cuerpo social. Igualmente analizaron las heridas que han quedado aún abiertas y examinaron las maneras en que, en otras latitudes y en otros tiempos, se plantearon el desafío de cerrar un pasado doloroso y paralizante con la vista puesta en el futuro hacia el cual debían caminar unidos. Pasado que debería ser interpelado con amplitud, resistiendo a la tiranía del Uno que hoy nos dice que el mal de esos tiempos, solamente encuentra su origen en un sector de la sociedad. Se deslizan, inclusive, en estas páginas algunas sugerencias sobre acciones posibles a implementar para promover la concordia y la paz social. La intención de los ensayistas ha sido suscitar en los lectores el deseo de profundizar en estos temas y generar el debate necesario que lleve a encontrar soluciones que logren modificar este escenario de Nación Dividida tan perjudicial para las próximas generaciones de argentinos. 10
