Partiendo de la pregunta inicial: ¿Cuáles son las características de la buena enseñanza de la fonética y la fonología inglesa en el profesorado de inglés en la Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata? El presente trabajo se sitúa en el contexto de la buena enseñanza de la fonética y la fonología inglesa en el Profesorado de Inglés de la Facultad de Humanidades de la UNMdP. Se aspira a desarrollar una propuesta de intervención didáctica evaluativa alternativa a través del uso de un portfolio y del uso de las nuevas tecnologías en el marco de la cátedra Fonética y Fonología I de la carrera del Profesorado de Inglés de la UNMdP y a sugerir dicha propuesta en otros profesorados de ingles de ámbitos de educación superior universitaria o terciarios. El eje de esta inquietud es el compromiso ético de tener que repensar, actualizar y eventualmente producir cambios en las prácticas docentes para lograr buenos aprendizajes en la comprensión de los contenidos de fonética y fonología inglesa en los profesorados de inglés. Estos hechos serán esenciales para que los alumnos desarrollen habilidades meta cognitivas que les permitan mejorar su pronunciación.
