Diese Arbeit untersucht die kommunikativen Schwachstellen, die eine wirksame Verbreitung von Gesundheitsbotschaften während eines Ausbruchs in der Gesundheitszone Miti-Murhesa behindern. Durch einen gemischten Ansatz, der qualitative und quantitative Methoden kombiniert, zeigt die Studie, dass soziokulturelle und wirtschaftliche Faktoren die Hindernisse für eine effektive Kommunikation verstärken und zu einem Vertrauensdefizit gegenüber offiziellen Botschaften führen. Traditionelle Überzeugungen und Fehlinformationen stellen eine große Herausforderung dar, die durch wirtschaftliche Unsicherheit und ein niedriges Bildungsniveau noch verschärft wird. Um diese Schwierigkeiten zu überwinden, ist die Förderung von Anti-Desinformationskampagnen und der Aufbau von Community Relations entscheidend, um das Vertrauen und die Zustimmung zu den Botschaften der öffentlichen Gesundheit zu stärken.
