Why not release a pattern a week for a year, and run a Patreon to help fund it? This was the original concept behind designer Shannon Okey’s #knitgrrl52 knit publishing project. With considerable help from her right hand woman and technical editor Andi Smith, as well as a large cast of sample knitters, models, photographers and more, Okey released a wide variety of patterns, used up miles and miles of stash yarn in her design studio, and delighted her Patreon patrons. Knitgrrl Socks & Mitts is the third book release from the project.
