Essay aus dem Jahr 2001 im Fachbereich Philosophie - Praktische (Ethik, Ästhetik, Kultur, Natur, Recht, ...), Note: keine, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In Abwandlung und Ergänzung eines nach wie vor diskussionswürdigen Aufsatzes von Frank Sibley sollen hier die wichtigsten Definitionen und Gliederungsversuche so genannter ästhetischer Begriffe verglichen und fünf terminologische Schichten aufgedeckt werden. Dabei ist im Hinblick auf die Rede von ästhetischen Eigenschaften, ästhetischer Erfahrung und ästhetischem Gegenstand von vornherein an folgendes zu erinnern:Ästhetische Eigenschaften gibt es als solche nicht, sondern nur Kombinationen von auch anderweitig vorkommenden Eigenschaften, die unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen uns ästhetisches Erleben gestatten, falls wir dazu überhaupt befähigt sind. Unter dem Aspekt ihrer Wirkung kann man feststellen, dass selbst Sibleys ästhetische Eigenschaften regional sind.(In: Kants Schlüssel zur Kritik des Geschmacks.
