In this book, I have tried to study the philosophical aspect of Kamayani, the classical work of eminent Hindi poet Shri Jai Shankar Prasad alongwith the philosophical way of life of Jai Shankar Prasad. Prasad is such a sun in the Hindi literature world, with whose aura the Hindi literature world will always shine. Prasad’s life philosophy is visible in all of Prasad’s compositions. Kamayani in particular is a living example of Prasad’s philosophical side. Kamayanikar has not only narrated the occurrence of the water catastrophe (Jal Pralaya) in Kamayani but the elaborate subject he has elaborated with the help of this very short description is an extension of the Shaivism and Buddhist philosophy of life of Prasad.
