Pandavas are the eternal companions of the Lord, hence they are more interested in the company of the Lord than anything else, being an ideal king, Maharaja Yudhisira wanted to retire to set an example for others.   Modern politicians should take a clue from B Maharaja Yudhita, who retired from active life, and allow the younger generation, even the elderly, to take their lessons and leave home for spiritual realization before they are forced to confront us.
