Die soziale Lage in den Heimatländern, sowie die antijüdischen Gesetze werden in dieser Hausarbeit nur erörtert, wenn es für das Verständnis hilfreich erscheint. Der Schwerpunkt dieser Hausarbeit liegt alleinig auf der Darstellung der Route der jüdischen Auswanderer aus ihrer Heimat bis zu den deutschen Hafenstädten Bremen und Hamburg,welchen ich anhand der Biografie von Mary Antin nachzeichnen werde.
