Der Jochbeinknochen ermöglicht eine Verankerung weit entfernt von der Okklusionsebene und weist einen regelmäßigen und kompakten trabekulären Knochen mit einer Knochendichte von 98% auf, der Stabilität und Halt für Zahnersatz bietet, ohne dass ein Knochentransplantationsverfahren erforderlich ist.
