Jerusalem Fever is an actual clinical term. It refers to the reaction of some of the devout when they walk the places Jesus walked. The book is a a lot more though. It deals with a fictional epistle of the apostle Paul to his spiritual son Timothy. Many of the features in the story are factual. Finally it is a romantic story between a Baptist professor and a Messianic woman.
