L’ipertensione è un importante problema di salute pubblica che spesso porta a problemi cardiovascolari, cerebrovascolari e renovascolari. Ha una relazione di causa-effetto con l’aumento dello stress ossidativo. L’aumento dei ROS può ulteriormente causare danni alle macromolecole della cellula, come proteine, lipidi e DNA.
