’El presente libro recoge los resultados del proyecto de investigación denominado Procesos de Enseñanza y Aprendizaje de Matemática en Ambientes Tecnológicos, en el que han participado el grupo de investigación Didáctica de las Matemáticas-DIMAT, del Instituto de Investigación para la Enseñanza de las Matemáticas (IREM) de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) y el grupo Processos de Ensino e Aprendizagem de Matematica-PEAMAT de la Universidad Catolica de São Paulo (PUC-SP).Los resultados de las investigaciones que publicamos, en forma de artículos, fueron seleccionados por un comité científico internacional, conformado por reconocidos especialistas del área de Educación Matemática provenientes de Argentina, Colombia, Chile, México y Perú, a quienes agradecemos por haber aceptado nuestra invitación y por sus oportunos comentarios y sugerencias a los autores.Hemos dividido el libro en tres áreas temáticas. En primer término, se presentan investigaciones en educación básica regular; luego, se reúnen trabajos en educación superior; y, finalmente, se incluyen artículos sobre la formación de profesores de matemáticas. Confiamos en que esta publicación contribuya a la formación y al diálogo entre profesores e investigadores del área de Educación Matemática, en especial del Perú y Brasil.’
