L’effet d’interférence contextuelle dans l’apprentissage moteur fait référence à l’interférence qui résulte de la pratique d’une tâche dans le concept d’autres tâches au cours d’une séance d’entraînement. Plusieurs études ont montré que la pratique dans des conditions d’interférence contextuelle élevée (c’est-à-dire avec un ordre de pratique aléatoire) dégrade les performances pendant les essais d’acquisition, par rapport à des conditions d’interférence contextuelle faible (c’est-à-dire avec un ordre bloqué, où la pratique d’une tâche est achevée avant la pratique d’une autre tâche).
