This paper provides an insight into the situation regarding migration and integration experiences of Kosovar nursing staff in Austrian hospitals and care facilities. The migration of nursing staff to Austria is a topical issue due to demographic developments and an ageing society. The integration of these migrants into society and into Austrian hospitals and care facilities poses a challenge for the quality of care.
