Sobre IBD

Uno de los elementos fundamentales para el buen gobierno del territorio y una adecuada participación pública es el consenso en un mínimo común entendimiento de los hechos y las tendencias que se producen y sobre los que se pretende actuar. Algo que resulta especialmente necesario en el caso de la Comunitat Valenciana, donde ha resultado difícil encontrar ese punto de acuerdo básico sobre la situación y las verdaderas necesidades, así como sobre los posibles efectos de las decisiones adoptadas en materia territorial. El presente informe, desarrollado desde la Cátedra de Cultura Territorial Valenciana, trata de responder a esta necesidad, mostrando algunos de estos hechos y tendencias, sus causas y efectos. En los nueve capítulos que lo integran se pueden encontrar cuadros-resumen con los principales argumentos, ideas y conclusiones a los que llegan sus autores, así como un importante aparato gráfico y cartográfico, lo que contribuye a dotarlo de un carácter de Atlas Territorial de la Comunitat Valenciana.
