La tendance actuelle est de s’orienter de plus en plus vers des systèmes de construction industrialisés, où les coûts et les délais d’exécution sont absolument contrôlés. Le MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) est un matériau fabriqué à partir de bois reboisé, comme l’eucalyptus, qui, associé à des profilés métalliques ou en bois, ainsi qu’à d’autres technologies intégrées déjà présentes au Brésil, permet de créer un système de construction innovant qui est appliqué dans le monde entier, en particulier dans l’industrie du meuble. Cette recherche visait à étudier l’influence de différentes concentrations de résine urée-formaldéhyde sur le traitement et la résistance mécanique des panneaux MDF fabriqués à partir d’eucalyptus et de noix de coco Babassu originaires du Maranhão.
