Eventually they become isolated in hostile territory, out of contact with headquarters, facing overwhelming enemy numbers and fire power, and suddenly acquiring the responsibility of protecting helpless refugees. Providentially the unit’s desperate imbroglio is clandestinely broadcast to the world by an unexpected ally. As bewildered American authorities attempt to find out ’what the hell is going on in Africa’, with this tiny band of soldiers, a questioning world and disconcerted American population witness, live, a demonstration of valor and heroism in defense of human dignity and freedom.
