MGDI-Technik, bei der eine geringe Anzahl von Transistoren verwendet wird, um den Stromverbrauch und die Fläche auf dem Chip von digitalen Schaltungen zu reduzieren. In diesem Papier wird der Volladdierer mit MGDI-Technik eingeführt. Ein 2-Bit-Komparator und ein Vollsubtrahierer wurden mit der GDI-Technik eingeführt. Anschließend wurden diese digitalen Schaltungen mit herkömmlichen CMOS-Transistoren in Bezug auf Verlustleistung, Anzahl der Transistoren, Fläche, Geschwindigkeit und Verzögerung verglichen.
