A causa della globalizzazione dei mercati e della necessità di risposte rapide all’ambiente in cui operano, le organizzazioni devono sviluppare strategie in grado di sostenere il vantaggio competitivo. L’obiettivo generale di questo lavoro è identificare e analizzare come la gestione delle risorse umane allinea i propri processi alla strategia aziendale dal punto di vista della balanced scorecard; come avviene il processo di definizione delle strategie a livello aziendale; come le strategie a livello aziendale vengono scomposte in obiettivi e strategie a livello funzionale; nonché come i manager utilizzano meccanismi di comunicazione integrata, la definizione degli obiettivi e gli incentivi o i premi per dirigere il team delle risorse umane. A tal fine, è stata condotta una ricerca in un’organizzazione del settore automobilistico, che opera in tutto il mondo, con una struttura aziendale e sei unità aziendali in Brasile. I risultati della ricerca evidenziano l’efficacia dell’utilizzo della balanced scorecard come strumento di implementazione delle strategie.
