Este estudo, intitulado 'Impacto do programa de ligação entre comerciantes e compradores da Rádio Benue nas vendas de produtos e serviços em Makurdi, Nigéria', foi concebido para avaliar o impacto do programa de ligação entre comerciantes e compradores da Rádio Benue nas vendas de produtos e serviços na metrópole de Makurdi. A investigação utilizou o método de inquérito para recolher dados dos inquiridos na metrópole de Makurdi. A teoria da difusão das inovações foi utilizada para apoiar a investigação. As principais conclusões revelaram que os comerciantes e compradores estão muito familiarizados com o programa Ligação Comerciante-Comprador e que ouviram falar do programa através da rádio. O estudo também revelou que os comerciantes e compradores ouvem a maioria dos episódios do programa e são participantes regulares. O investigador constatou igualmente que o impacto positivo do programa 'Trader-Buyer Connection' nas vendas e na base de clientes é mínimo. Por último, o estudo revelou que o principal ponto forte do programa 'Trader-Buyer Connection' é o apoio às empresas locais, o principal ponto fraco é a promoção inadequada e, de um modo geral, os comerciantes e compradores não estão satisfeitos com o programa. O estudo recomenda que a Radio Benue desenvolva um plano de marketing abrangente para aumentar a sua visibilidade.
