La raison de cette recherche était de découvrir pourquoi, après tant de formations dispensées par le gouvernement et les ONG, les habitants de Bulilima vivaient toujours dans la pauvreté et n’étaient pas autosuffisants. Cette recherche a été réalisée sous la forme d’une analyse des écarts entre les résultats attendus par les parties prenantes et les résultats réels. Les résultats escomptés sont la réduction de la pauvreté dans la communauté et la production d’une main-d’œuvre qualifiée et employable après la formation.
