This book deals with a current passion: photography. However, producing photographs without thinking about how to recover or locate an image among so many others means that the volume of 'lost' images becomes ever greater. It is in this space that Knowledge Organization acts and contributes as a facilitator of searches and validations of moments stored in everyday images. The transcoding of the document must reflect an organization based on methods and tools already used in Information Science, in the discipline of Archivology. Recognizing the provenance of the image has a direct impact on the organization process, maintaining the integrity of the information that is translated from the freezing of an instant, i.e. the photograph.
