Questo lavoro aveva lo scopo di indagare la permanenza, la contaminazione e lo spostamento dei pavimenti/design di superficie nelle costruzioni antiche, nei restauri e nei progetti contemporanei con portata artistica, culturale e storica, al fine di analizzare le nuove proposte e i nuovi linguaggi in relazione al design e all’arte del Mato Grosso. Le relazioni arte/design e viceversa possono essere pensate all’interno di diversi contesti, permeati dalla presenza delle piastrelle idrauliche nelle immagini delle opere di artisti plastici e nelle composizioni di design di superficie (in architettura: edifici antichi, restauri e progetti contemporanei). Le analisi delle opere selezionate e il design/superficie nelle composizioni mettono in luce il risultato di queste riflessioni e rivelano la questione attraverso concetti progettuali compositivi.
