There are five stages of grief, or so they say. But what happens when you don’t allow yourself to move through them? Briar is stuck, living in a constant state of then and now, while navigating the loss of her best friend. Lifelong feelings of abandonment surface and she begins to question-is she easy to leave? There’s no map, no rule book, no guide to grief. Which means Briar will either need to figure it out, or figure out how to ask for help along the way. They say 'it takes a village'. But when you resent that village and prefer solitude, it’s not easy to ask for help. Briar has to make the choice-Try to find a new way to move forward, or continue to wander around, wraith-like and lonely-wishing to just feel.
