'What is that bird, Grammy?' On a cold and sunny winter day while babysitting my grandchildren, we watched birds flocking to feeders in the yard. I identified the birds for them, and they were so interested that they brought two little stools to the window to sit on while we watched and discussed the hungry birds. That experience gave me the idea for a bird book of their very own. The 'Name the Birds!' pages at the end of the book with pictures of all the birds in the book can be used as a game with children. 3
