Aqui, destacaram o humanismo em termos do papel do indivíduo na sociedade, onde o interesse do indivíduo se funde completamente com o da sociedade. Sugeriram a abnegação e o auto-sacrifício como espírito de permanência da causa do humanismo porque as sementes do humanismo deveriam ser cultivadas e desenvolvidas através do conceito de socialização. Esta é a mensagem que recebemos da vida e dos ideais de todos estes grandes pensadores da Índia contemporânea e destaca o humanismo espiritual que é um aspecto dominante da sua filosofia.
