Cet ouvrage synthétise les recherches empiriques récentes sur les modalités de rétroaction corrective (RC) en rédaction en langue seconde (L2), en s’appuyant sur des études menées entre 2018 et 2019. Les études examinées utilisent divers modèles de recherche - expériences pré-test, post-test et post-test différé, études de cas qualitatives et revues bibliographiques - pour examiner les effets de différentes approches de RC, notamment la rétroaction directe et indirecte, les stratégies ciblées et non ciblées, et les pratiques de révision collaboratives et individuelles. Les résultats indiquent que si la RC directe tend à produire des gains rapides en précision grammaticale, les méthodes de rétroaction indirecte et métalinguistique peuvent favoriser un engagement cognitif plus profond et une rétention à long terme. Les approches collaboratives et étayées améliorent encore la qualité de la révision et la motivation des apprenants. Cette synthèse examine les implications de ces résultats pour la pédagogie de la rédaction en L2 et suggère des pistes de recherche futures pour développer des modèles de RC adaptatifs et centrés sur l’apprenant.
