Geodetic science is described as a branch of earth sciences and applied mathematics. Space geodetic techniques like global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), very long baseline interferometry (VLBI), satellite gravimetry and altimetry, and GNSS reflectometry & radio occultation, can precisely measure even the minute changes in the Earth’s shape, its rotation and gravitational pull; and are capable of calculating mass changes in earth’s system to great accuracy as well. This book provides an insight into the latest experiments and evolution in space geodetic methods and theories, including GNSS, VLBI, gravimetry, geoid, geodetic atmosphere, geodetic geophysics and geodetic mass transport related with ocean, hydrology, cryosphere and solid-Earth.
