Hugh Hamilton’s fifth photographic record of Green Gate Farm’s shooting season with images from Leicestershire countryside. His documentary photographs represent people who enjoy the English countryside, but the primary concern of this photographic project is to examine those who have a 'good reason' to own and handle firearms within this space. These images document the resulting leisure pursuits, which have their own established mythology rooted in a sense of place, but are also inherently unfashionable within globalised post-industrial cultures.
